New Releses - Mar 2010

So, as many of you are already aware of, March seems to be a reasonably big month for some quality game releases. I'm pretty excited, to be honest. I should look at taking some time off work to get through them all!

Anyway, unfortunately, METRO 2033 and Singularity still have yet to confirm their release dates, but hopefully they'll be sticking to schedule and release this coming month.

I thought I'd mention Heavy Rain in here, even though it's just been released a couple of days ago; but it's an awesome game that actually draws you into the storyline and actually makes you feel like you're part of everything that's going down. Be sure to check it out. But, on with this month's releases.

March 4

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 [PC, PS3, 360] - talked about as the "Modern Warefare killer" with destructable game environments.
Supreme Commander 2 [PC] - The sequel to the first Supreme Commander RTS, with new high-end experimental units added into the mix. If you played the previous Supreme Commander, this sequel is deffinitely worth a look at. The Xbox 360 port will be available later in the month.

March 9

Final Fantasy XIII [PS3, 360] - Another long-awaited arrival from Square Enix, Final Fantasy XIII presents you with stunning graphics, a new battle system, and the high quality storylines which we have all grown to associate with the Final Fantasy series. March 18

God of War III [PS3] - Kratos is back; and on the Playstation 3! Be sure to check this one out.
Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight
[PC] - Kane is back! With a new class-based game system, persistent experience points, mobile bases, and five-on-five multiplayer. The last 'chapter' of the Tiberium Saga.
Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening [360] - The expansion pack for Dragon Age: Origins is now available on the 360. More battles with the Darkspawn await you, with a mysterious new enemy to face.
Supreme Commander 2 [360] - The sequel to the first Supreme Commander RTS for the Xbox 360.

March 25

Resonance of Fate [PS3, 360] - Wrapping up the month with Resonance of Fate, an old-school style Japanese RPG from SEGA and Tri-Ace Studios.

There are afew other releases scheduled for March, which I may post up on here later; but what a huge month for RTS fans! Command and Conquer 4, the closing chapter for the Tiberium Saga after running for about 15 years, What an accomplishment.
Supreme Commander 2 has supposedly been designed to require less system resources to run, and with some new units such as the Colossus, Pulinsmash, Bomb Bouncer, and the AC1000 (based off the current AC130 you may know of from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1&2 or otherwise), it's really something to look forward to.

Personally, I'm pretty excited about Final Fantasy XIII this month. What about you? Be sure to get your pre-orders in for these March releases to ensure yourself a copy before it they run out!
